A few things I have collected, I likey.

best week EVER

This week has been brilliant due to five little reasons:

This is the meal I had mentioned before, in Byzantium. A tapas selection to die for and a beautiful little place.

I will do this is more detail later, but we have been having many many outings at the moment. One including an aquarium, a Stubblemelt gig, a 3 year anniversary, the Avengers in the cinema and of course my guilty pleasures of Nandos and KFC.

 *drum roll* I have the pleasure to announce that I will be staying at my DREAM JOB for a long time to come as I have been offered to stay on after my internship... and its perfect.

I am so excited to stay on any complete my projects!

Starsky update:

We are officially over the nervous bunny that first arrived. Now Starsky is more fond of sitting on my shoulder, licking my onesie, running round the garden, scoffing down grass, standing on her hind legs and pooing!!

And finally, the SURPRISE PARTY that shocked me so much apparently I looked like I had pooed myself. I was surrounded by all my friends and boy did it get messy!

Rabbit introductions

Our little rabbittyyy girl

Starsky

So whenever she is in her hutch, I can claim there is Starsky in her Hutch.

And she is a crime fighting bunny

She is roughly a couple of months old (8 weeks) and used to live with 5 rowdy rabbit boys.

So far, she enjoys sitting on our stomach and her left leg always seems to flop all over the place. She is really calm and as rabbits are really sociable she loves to be talked to (apparently rabbits can make friends with birds!) and as she is soon to be an outdoorsy rabbit, but has to have a couple of weeks to adjust, we might have soon birdy visitors in the garden!

We got a booklet about all the plants and vegetables she can eat, apparently some give her gas and must be avoided! ha!

So that's my rundown so far. If you have any tips about rabbits, let me know!

1. Painting and getting it all over my hands (when you were young did you ever peal PVA glue off your fingers? best feeling everrr) and feeling ever so proud. New t shirts soon to be revealed...

The chapter that begins with a new house

We have just MOVED HOUSE and its nice to be resting my noggin on a double bed in a bedroom so large I could (if I so wanted) comfortably run around it whilst wearing a robot costume made of giant boxes and a backpack that could rival those of the year 7 kids on their first day of secondary school... with many many pens.

Oh, was that just me. 

Well, I had those gel pens that smelt like bananas and had glitter in them.

We also have just come back from Sorrento, Italy. It was such a stunning place to stay, only reachable by a coastal road winding through tiny little villages and towns nestled in the cliff side. We stayed in this Villa with the rest of the family clan, it was HUGE and had views over the ocean. This was a picture taken inside that very villa. Me and Josh cannot take sensible pictures. Shortly after this was taken, Josh picked me up... upside down.

So, when I have finished diving into bags of my clothes and boxes full of paper (I don't know why we have so many boxes of paper, do other people have this problem? Or do we just like the feel of tree shavings?) ...  I shall update you.

Cider. Monopoly. Burgers. Ladybirds. Camera. Draw Free Game. Making a picnic. Cucumbers. Off to the Electric Cinema tonight (the oldest British cinema) to watch "We bought a Zoo". Cheese slices. sunshine. long socks and dresses. taddaaa

1. planning trips away in the near future, including Italy in a few months (with the family) and flying far far away

2. this picture of how I want to wear onesies in everyday life. minus the kid/Joey.

3. Thinking things like: I wish baby seals went clubbing

4. This joke: I just farted in a lift - it was wrong on so many levels.

5. saying "maybe baby" when it goes quiet at work. Say it now. You'll enjoy it too.

6. wanting all kinds of new clothes by forever 21 and topshop (just need to get some pennies to purchase them ALL) but enjoying the time in between catching the train home to try on crop tops and leggings and think if they were the same awesome clothes I wore when I was 2 years old.

8. winter food that makes my belly all warm and round, including me daily trip to Greggs to get steak bites

9. last weekends take me out episode where the word HAWKWARD would have scored me so many brownie points.

bear bear bear

So you know how winter is soooo cold? Its a bit naff right?

Well, not with this bear onesie.

Complete with thumb holes and a bum flap for the all important winter toilet trips. I'm in love.

I don't want to take it off. EVER.

Day 9: (excuse me whilst I squeal) Elephaaaaants!

Day 9 (part one):

The day spent with ELEPHANTS 

Happiness bottled.

The mini taxi picked us up from our hostel at 6am (complete with wet hair!) and we happily met our mini-bus friends. The rest of the day I spent with elephants! Bathing them, feeding them bananas from our hands, getting kisses, riding on the back of their necks and being squirted in the face by my elephant who really loves bath time!

Before booking this day I had to make sure we were supporting an elephant sanctuary that really cared for the elephants. This one gave the elephants enough room to roam and treated them with the care they need. There is a whole little village around the sanctuary that live and work with the elephants. They thrive off the tourism but give the elephants daily baths and walks through the surrounding jungle. They never use chains and only carried sticks in order to make sure the elephants do not hurt anyone, however a tap with a stick to these huge beauties is like a mini pinch to a human - they can barely feel it at all!

We were lucky enough to be paired with a young male called 'a little shy'. He was really well behaved until he got into the water and trying to roll around and squirt us whenever he could. When in the water we had to wear the life jackets as the river was really fast moving and the elephants love to go completely under. We got given this elephant shampoo to wash them with as elephants are covered in little hairs that tickle bare legs! Also, on the land again he seemed to love bushes and constantly walk into them, hence why in a few of the pictures he seems to be eating long leaves! Our elephant carer found it funny when 'a little shy' decided to snatch the bananas out of our hands and spray us with spit!!!

Later in the day we also got to the see the baby elephants who during the day are kept away from the main center of the sanctuary (although on this day all the villagers seemed a little pre-occupied with one HUGE male elephant so it wasn't very busy all day). There were two little elephants that were let to roam in the small wooden pen and a local man put a flower ring on their heads (we think it was some sort of blessing) which made them look UTTERLY PRETTY ha ha. Except there was definitely one who was a rebellious baby, who kept taking the flower ring off his head and trying to put his trunk in RUDE PLACES! They gave us kisses by sucking really hard on our faces!

We were such suckers for them and bought them lots of bananas. 

Later on in the day we also got to visit a National park with stunning jungle and waterfalls, but I will post that later!

if the world was an oyster...

would i be the squidgy bit in the middle? 
Because I don't like that bit.

I am going to Asia in 10 days!!

Its so exciting that I can pee regularly. 

However, I am currently having those frequent dreams about all the things you dread happening to you when you are away... such as: my camera breaking, me forgetting any clothes, it raining for the entire time, dinosaurs chasing me, getting flu, not packing anything remotely useful (such as pulling out a whole lot of balloons and no pants OH and my biggest fear of forgetting my pill) and a dog biting my finger off.

Is it weird these have all been dreamt about?

BUT... I cannot wait to see everythinggg.

 With views that make you go "doubbllleee rainboowww.. wooooowww"

So...

 To the plane please.

I would quite like to go for ages, thank you. 

I want to see all the sights in the sunshine

I want to mingle in and out of little towns

I want to ride an elephant

I want to swim in the sea with fishiiesss that don't want to eat me

I want to see all the temples

 A friendly tiger would be nice, not locked away, roaming free and dandy with me (as I pointed out to Josh, I don't really intend to see this in Asia, but if I am going for ages maybe a tiger friend would be a nice addition, they are pretty)

And I want to be doing this with all new pretty clothes on my skin and bones

And maybe a re-appearance of my freckles and tan

A little picture of a meerkat boob grab from a few weeks ago.

Apparently as they are so prone to finding their food in cracks and underground they assume they can dig for food anywhere... including mouths (yes this does mean when smiling some meerkats want to get inside you mouth for a nosey around) and in this occasion this meerkat wanted a peek in the realms of cleavage. 

They also love high places in order to watch out for dangers including any sort of bird, airplanes and occasionally these high places include people's shoulders. Queue next photo...

This meerkat spent his entire time on Josh's shoulder!

All these shenanigans happened a few weeks ago at Paradise Wildlife park which is a lovely place.

So this is little tale of our Zoo day!

However, maybe this would look better if Josh was a pirate?

 Zoo day pictures:

1. This was also the day that we discovered the joy of lemurs. If you do anything to get their attention they are literally all yours. We even discovered that they grab leaves through the bars and pull this sort of face.

3. A cats yawn.. seriously I love big cats. They are so pretty!

4 + 5. There was this 'talking' parrot that I was sceptical of considering it never said a word even with me saying the typical "Polly want a cracker?" "hello" and " who's a pretty parrot?" chat up lines... except whenever I turned by back it said hello!! I firstly thought it was Josh paying a trick on me. Then worked out... it was the parrot playing a trick on me! Brilliant... I'm so gullible I can be tricked by a parrot. 

                                                                               6. The funniest vain penquin.

In closing:

This is a cafe in Old Amersham. This is one of the prettiest little villages. The perfect little spot for my camera to have a little walk about.

p.s. this is our little collection of plants on our window in Birmingham. We have sweet potatoes, basil (the best smelling one by far), Venus Fly Trap for those pesky bugs and chives.
